yes , it is possible but needs to customize themes, need do a lot of code change front page

I find in your site link goes to out of the box due to link does not go to the next line such issues come , so you need to use such link like this
First, you have to go to customize > homepage setting > choose the latest post https://prnt.sc/uqxle7 then appearance > customize > Theme option >Featured Section > select category to Slider, post must have a featured image

Do not need any plugins for slider.
For Slider follow theme step
1.first of all choose two page as static page as home page and blog page from apperence>Customizer>homepage setting> then choose home page and blog page.
2.Then go to appreance>customize>homepage slider setting >choose category for slider then save it,
